The light returns and we embrace the season of renewal and new life. This yarn collection takes inspiration from the Suffolk coast; the North Sea, birdsong, milky blue skies, and the co-existence of industry and nature.

"While she is swimming, I sit on the pebble beach letting stones run through my fingers. Despite her views – two weeks ago she was protesting a visit from the energy secretary a few hundred yards from here –  she is swimming in the sea next to a nuclear power station. The redundant outfall rigs rise out of the water behind her, home now to a noisy colony of Kittiwakes. I call out to her, ask her if the water is warm. 

‘Yes, it is,’ she shouts, grinning.

I can sense that she thinks swimming in the sea is good for her. Invigorating, life-enhancing even."

The seasonal indulgence spring box contained:

100g + 2 x 20g cooms | sock set - while she swims
100g holt | singles - the sun warming my eyelids
3 x 50g pightle | fingering/4ply - waves ripple out
